LOVE IS

Today is Valentine's Day- a day I would ordinarily just file under another crappy made up holiday, which I guess it is. However, this year on Valentine's Day I get the rare opportunity to spend time with someone I love and appreciate greatly. I've never really believed all of that soul mate/one person out there for everyone crap, but now I am really starting to rethink my whole philosophy. In the last year and a half we have spent together I have been able to get my life back on track, more or less picking up where I left off in the fall of 2003. There is no more "I" when I think about the future now though, it is "We" and "US." I have no real major fears or concerns anymore because I know that you will be there no matter what. That gives me inner peace which is what I was lacking for many years. I can't imagine very many people having the patience to deal with me everyday either. Somehow you have though and for that I have to thank you. I am not exactly sure where the next couple years will lead, but I know that you will be by my side. I love you!!!!!!!!

You can salivate at some of the treats she has been making for this delicious holiday of love on her blog. I helped make cookies a few times, but other than that most of this has been my amazing girlfriend!

Richmond and Denver aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
