RIP Macho Man Randy Savage

Today is a sad day for wrestling fans worldwide. I admit, I have not watched wrestling very much at all since 1997, but in the late 80s WWF and NWA had me glued to the television set almost every weekend, until I discovered basketball and music. What first got me interested in all of the "madness" was seeing this fight live on one of those "Main Event" broadcasts they used to do. I recall this being on a Friday not a Saturday though, although this was over twenty years ago so I could be wrong. Anyway, this was the lead up to Wrestlemania V, a main event that featured Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage going at in the main event. Hogan did in fact win this match, but Savage had already developed a reputation worldwide as one of the greatest professional wrestlers around. When people mention Savage, his iconic Wrestlemania III bout with Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat is usually a hot topic. Many people consider this to be the greatest match in pro wrestling history. Here is a small clip from that match, featuring the best commentator in wrestling history- Jesse "the body" Ventura.
