As mentioned earlier today, it is pretty embarassing to lose to the Minnesota Timberwolves. With that said, it is time for the Daryl Morey and the Houston Rockets to get the trades going again. As I have mentioned time and time again, Daryl Morey has proved in the four years that he's been with the Rockets that he's capable of pulling those stunning deadline deals. I would not be at all surprised to see Carmelo Anthony in a Rockets uniform in the next two weeks. Either way, I am convinced that Morey will do SOMETHING to improve on this season. It isn't too late, as the Rockets find themselves only four games behind the Portland Trail Blazers for the 8th and final playoff spot. Speaking of those Blazers...
Not so fast on the Brandon Roy return tour bandwagon! Joe Freeman of the Oregonian reports that Roy will not return to the lineup this weekend. He has returned to practice and there is still no definite timetable for his return.
I can ALMOST guarantee you that Carmelo Anthony will finish this season on either the Lakers, Knicks, Rockets, or Nuggets. I still think he will end up a Knick, but I would love to see the Rockets pull off a deadline deal on him.
