Chris Broussard has reported on a lot of destinations for Carmelo Anthony this season

Chris Broussard has reported on a lot of destinations for Carmelo Anthony this season, well mainly the Nets, Knicks, and Bulls. The Rockets and Mavericks have been mentioned as wild cards at times. Now, the Lakers have just been mentioned by Broussard on Sportscenter as a team that has recently been stepping up their discussions with the Nuggets. The thing I hate most about this (aside from it all being speculation) is that the Lakers possess all of what Denver needs. I don't even know that a third team would be needed, unless Denver is looking to stock up on draft picks and expiring contracts. Otherwise, the Lakers could be primed to offer the Nuggets a combination of Andrew Bynum and a few other contract players. Expect all of these rumors to continue to pick up steam in the days leading up to the deadline.

While I don't expect Houston to make much of a push for Anthony, I do expect them to make some moves around the deadline. Darryl Morey is the man afterall.

  1. Houston makes so much sense yet I don't think Carmelo has any desire to go anywhere but NYK. Damn shame too.
