Roundball (fast sunday morning edition)

Blake Griffin continued his strong push for rookie of the year last night. Demarcus Cousins had a few things to say about that, in back to back games versus strong opponents this weekend. Brandon Jennings returned to action for the Bucks against the Nets last night. But it was Andrew Bogut who led the Bucks on both ends all night, finishing off the evening with 17 points, 18 boards, and 7 (!)blocks. The blocks tied a career high. The Bulls proved to be too much for the Pacers to handle. When Noah comes back, this team could be a force in the playoffs. Kurt Thomas continues to be the ageless wonder. Kevin Love and the Timberwolves proved to be too much to handle for the Raptors in a battle of two terrible franchises. The Grizzlies moved back to the .500 mark, defeating the lowly Wizards. If Memphis keeps playing like this, they could easily snatch the sixth or seventh playoff spot. On the other hand, the Wizards moved to 0-23 on the road with this loss last night. The Mavericks used a very well balanced night from their team in defeating the Hawks for their fourth straight victory. Seven out of the nine Mavericks that played in this game reached double figures in scoring. The Spurs ran away from the Rockets in the second half, eventually defeating them by 13 points. The Spurs have been the class of the NBA so far this season, while my Rockets have been very mediocre. BRING ON MELO!!!!!
